WHAT DO WE COLLECT?

Your email address, requested email categories, confirmation and preference changes, consent wording version and dates. We also keep delivery identifiers, failures and suppression records. Security controls use a keyed hash of your IP address; the signup database does not store your raw IP address.

WHY DO WE USE IT?

We use your consent to send the public launch notification and, only if you choose them, occasional development updates. We send confirmation and requested preferences emails to verify ownership and honour your choices. We use legitimate interests to protect the service from abuse, investigate delivery failures and keep evidence of your choices.

WHO PROCESSES IT?

Vercel hosts this website and its signup service. Neon stores the notification records in a separate database in London. Resend delivers the emails through our verified sending domain, configured in Ireland. These providers may use international infrastructure and subprocessors. Their published data-processing terms describe applicable transfer safeguards: Vercel, Neon and Resend.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP IT?

Unconfirmed signups are deleted after seven days. Verification links expire after 24 hours. Encrypted queued email content is removed after delivery, cancellation or the retry deadline. Abuse-control hashes are removed after 24 hours and request receipts after seven days. Confirmed records are kept while the notification service needs them. We retain minimal consent and opt-out records to honour an unsubscribe and review retention after the public launch. Contact us to request deletion.

HOW CAN YOU CHANGE YOUR CHOICES?

Use Email Preferences to request a private link, change categories or unsubscribe from both. Each future notification must include a preferences or unsubscribe link. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing.

YOUR RIGHTS

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy where applicable. Contact hello@tacticafootball.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

TRACKING AND PRODUCT ACCESS

This signup flow does not enable analytics, advertising, email-open or email-click tracking. Confirmation and preferences pages use temporary browser session storage for your private link so a reload can work. Signing up creates a notification record, not a product account or access to tactica. 2.0.
